چکیده
Abstract In the past several years, nanopore sequencing technology from Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) and single-molecule real-time (SMRT) Pacific BioSciences (PacBio) have become available to researchers are currently being tested for cancer research. These methods offer many advantages over most widely used high-throughput short-read approaches allow comprehensive analysis of transcriptomes by identifying full-length splice isoforms other posttranscriptional events. addition, these platforms enable structural variation characterization at a previously unparalleled resolution direct detection epigenetic marks in native DNA RNA. Here, we present summary important applications technologies research, including identification complex structure variants, alternatively spliced isoforms, fusion transcript events, exogenous Furthermore, discuss impact newly developed RNA (RNA-Seq) approach advancing epitranscriptome research cancer. Although unique challenges still new long-read methods, they will unravel aspects genome complexity unprecedented ways an encouraging outlook continued application increasing number different settings.

Next Generation Sequencing and its Application in the Study of Microbiome in Plant Diseases Suppressive Soils
Progress in next-generation sequencing has played a significant role in ecological studies of microbial populations. These advances have led to a rapid evaluation in metagenomics studies (analysis of DNA of microbial communities without the need to culture). Many statistical and computational tools and metagenomics databases have led to the discovery of huge amounts of data. In this research, i...

First- and second-generation sequencing technologies have led the way in revolutionizing the field of genomics and beyond, motivating an astonishing number of scientific advances, including enabling a more complete understanding of whole genome sequences and the information encoded therein, a more complete characterization of the methylome and transcriptome and a better understanding of interac...
متن کاملApplication of second-generation sequencing to cancer genomics
New generations of DNA sequencing technologies are enabling the systematic study of genetic derangement in cancers. Sequencing of cancer exomes or transcriptomes or even entire cancer genomes are now possible, though technical and economic challenges remain. Cancer samples are inherently heterogeneous and are often contaminated with normal DNA, placing additional demands on informatics tools fo...
متن کاملNext generation sequencing applications for breast cancer research
For some time, cancer has not been thought of as a disease, but as a multifaceted, heterogeneous complex of genotypic and phenotypic manifestations leading to tumorigenesis. Due to recent technological progress, the outcome of cancer patients can be greatly improved by introducing in clinical practice the advantages brought about by the development of next generation sequencing techniques. Biom...
